Q: What makes Creation Farm’s formulas different?
A: We begin with whole plants rather than isolated compounds. Many of our herbs are grown in our gardens or sourced from small growers, then infused into oils, alcohol, or vinegar to extract a broad spectrum of constituents. This allows our creams, salves, and oils to feel both gentle and alive, with the natural aroma and character of the plant intact.

Q: Do you grow your own herbs?
A: Yes. Several of the herbs used in our creams, salves, and hydrosols are grown in our gardens and hoop house. Others are sourced from growers we’ve known for many years who share a similar commitment to whole-plant herbalism. When needed, we supplement with reputable suppliers for items not easily grown in our climate.

Q: Are your products organic?
A: We use organic herbs, base oils, butters, and waxes whenever available. Because we produce a wide range of items, we do not certify every product individually. Our sourcing philosophy focuses on plant integrity, clean oils, and responsible cultivation rather than paperwork.

Q: Are your products vegan?
A: Many are. Our creams and oils are typically vegan, while some salves may contain beeswax. Each product page lists its full ingredient profile so customers can choose according to their preferences.

Q: Do you use artificial fragrances or dyes?
A: No. We do not use synthetic fragrances or artificial colors. Aroma and color come from essential oils, plant extracts, hydrosols, and whole-herb infusions.

Q: What base oils and butters do you use?
A: We use plant-based oils such as jojoba, coconut, olive, and sunflower, along with butters like shea and cocoa depending on the product. These are chosen not just for skin compatibility but for how they carry herbal constituents extracted during infusion.

Q: Where do your essential oils come from?
A: We source essential oils from distillers and regional suppliers who specialize in steam-distilled and cold-pressed botanicals. Each oil is selected for purity, aroma, and consistency. We do not use synthetic fragrance oils.
