Are you a family-owned company?

Yes. Creation Farm is family-owned and vertically handcrafted in Michigan.
Our work began as a home practice of traditional herbalism — making salves, extracts, and books in small batches for family, neighbors, and local markets. Over time, this calling grew into a studio and a small manufacturing space where we now produce botanical skincare, aromatherapy products, and educational resources.

Where are your products made?

All products are handcrafted in Fenton, Michigan.
We formulate, pour, label, and ship from our own facility — allowing us to maintain batch control, ingredient integrity, and consistency without outsourcing or contract manufacturing.

What is your focus as a company?

Creation Farm integrates:

✔ traditional herbalism
✔ botanical skincare
✔ aromatherapy
✔ education and books
✔ whole-plant practice

Our aim is to make products that are sensory, effective, and rooted in herbal knowledge rather than synthetic formulation trends.

What does “vertically handcrafted” mean?

It means that we do not rely on 3rd-party labs or factories.
We source raw ingredients, formulate, fill, package, label, and ship in-house. This allows quality, freshness, and transparency that larger contract-based skincare companies cannot usually offer.

Do you grow or source your own herbs?

We grow, seasonally wild-gather, and also work with small U.S. suppliers for herbs, resins, oils, and plant extracts. Our sourcing choices prioritize quality, sustainability, and plant integrity over commodity pricing.

Do you test on animals?

No. We do not test on animals and our products are cruelty-free.

Do you use synthetic fragrances?

No. We use pure essential oils and plant aromatics.
No synthetic fragrances, petroleum derivatives, parabens, or phthalates.

What is your packaging philosophy?

We use materials that balance:

  • product protection

  • recyclability

  • sensory experience

  • shelf presentation

Glass is used where appropriate, especially for aromatherapy and herbal extracts. Plastics are used for items requiring moisture resistance in bathrooms or kitchens.

How long has Creation Farm been operating?

The business was founded in 2005 and incorporated in 2009, but the herbal roots began long before — shaped by years of study, apprenticeships, gardens, and teaching.

Do you offer wholesale?

Yes. Creation Farm products are available to retailers through Faire with NET 60 terms, opening order support, and incentive-based free shipping.
